Discover our rug grippers, essential tools for any tufting project. These wooden slats, which you can nail, staple, or glue (with strong wood glue) to your tufting frame, are perfect for properly tensioning your fabric. They allow you to readjust the tension of the fabric during the tufting process, ensuring that your work area is always well stretched for uniform tufting.

The slats are equipped with small nails every few centimeters that hold the fabric firmly in place without damaging it. For best results, it is crucial to use a high-quality, easy-stretch fabric that fits seamlessly over our rug grippers. Although these grips were traditionally used to secure rugs to the floor, their use has become less common in the industry, making them a difficult item to find in mainstream stores.

Each order includes 5 pieces of grips (1220mm long x 20mm wide x 5.7mm thick), cut into smaller sections for easy shipping. This does not affect their functionality - simply place them next to each other on your rack and start creating!
